1. New Paladin Press has immediate publishing opportunities for the right books. We’re looking for modern versions of the original Paladin Press books.
2. Writers submitting books for the Field Manuals For The New American Resistance line must be SMEs with DD 214s/NGB22s to prove it. No stolen valor posers. The topics under this heading are not restricted. The only requirement is that you write your FM for a student audience and all examples of TTPs and planning are for hypothetical civilian guerrilla ops in a notional 1st World country called REPUBLICA.
3. Specific topics we want to see produced into usable textbooks:
- OFF THE SHELF DRONE OPS FOR TARGET INTERDICTION
- Improvised Radio Detonation Systems
- Improvised EMPs
- Guerrilla Light Infantry Training program for Self-Training civilian militias. Start with physical drills to develop fortitude. Then principles of leadership and onto the 11B specific infantry tasks that guerrilla troops need to be well regulated in.
- Home workshop Silencers 2.0
- Home workshop Grease Guns aka “The Omega Man gun”
- Advanced sniper skills
- Improvised demolitions cookbooks like The Black Books from Vietnam era SFQC
- Improvised tactical radio nets
- Organize and Run an Insurgent Intelligence Production S2 Shop
- Analog Tradecraft for Insurgents
- The Combat Engineer’s Guide to Target Analysis. We want an appendix included that will be a complete example workup for a hypothetical AI data center target located in Republica with TA applied for follow-on target interdiction ops.
- Speed target acquisition in gun battles using the carbine or pistol
- Land navigation without crutches like GPS
- Any topics that SOF soldiers would like to see in an FM without all the officer shit
4. Authors who were published by original Paladin Press please contact the Editors to arrange for reprinting your classic titles under the New Paladin Press branding.
5. There are opportunities for hard fiction writers. NPP is resurrecting the near dead Men’s Action fiction genre with two parallel series: The Exterminator which chronicles a renegade Green Beret’s war of attrition against the Mafia No One May Speak Of. The Exterminator is closed to outside writers.
Special Task Force: GREEN MAJIK is the Exterminator 4 and a half years later. He’s been recruited into a black project USAP code named GREEN MAJIK. The focus of this ghost strike unit is to counter the most hideous threat to humanity yet uncovered: the eldritch forces of the Cthulhu Mythos. Think the Executioner in his Stony Man Farm days meets the Lovecraftian X-Files.
This series is OPEN to writers. There are strict parameters to be maintained here for consistency.
- 75,000 word manuscripts.
- Manuscripts will be published under the DON TEMPLETON house by-line. Like Gold Eagle, the real author’s name will be credited on the Copyright page.
- Must follow the NPP Plot Planning Paradigm (see the NPP Substack @formerbolanwriter for the blocks of instruction on this)
- Must display a voice that mimics the creator’s writing style.
- Axillary characters in the GREEN MAJIK universe are ripe for spin-off series of their own i.e. FBI Special Agent Mallory Hammond and homicide detective Jack Carnahan.
- Must have read the foundational GREEN MAJIK novels. Your story timeline must be a mission that is post #4 in the series.
- Stand alone adventures and trilogies wanted.
- Extra points for having read The Exterminator books.
- There will be a Writer’s Bible for this series explaining all the organizations and wiring diagrams of who is commanded by what.
- Depict realistic soldier TTPs in action.
These books will be contract novels. The prospective terms are $1000 advance paid half on signing and half on delivery of manuscript. After publication, the Author will receive 15% royalties on all Author titles sold. Author will be given the option of buying his/her own books at cost + 5% for personal website sales and sales at Author appearances and conventions. This is better author terms than signing with Gold Eagle back in the day. Gold Eagle never paid royalties. It was a straight outright purchase of your manuscript. They owned it.
We want hard hitting stories that leave a mark after reading. We don’t do Woke or The Message™ and we only work with writers and editing professionals that are certified Real Men and Women who have been there done that and got the T-shirt to prove it. We are not confused about which bathroom to use around here. All wokey threats by email or DM will be printed out, ridiculed on blast and promptly burned in the circular file.
No Editors or Writers at New Paladin are DEI/Woke Culture Vandals (like this woman in the picture above). These ‘people’ will not do to us what they’ve done to everything from games to comic books to movies and TV series. The progressive/regressive bullshit stops here!
